MATHS-

Today in Maths you will be making number pairs. You need to know this information:

 

Denominator= Total number of equal parts the whole has been divided into.

 

Numerator= Number of equal parts we're counting. 

 

GP: Question 1- find the remaining fraction to make a whole 1.

Question 2- write the answer to make the fraction above. 

 

Workbook: A,B = Write the fraction to make a whole 1.

C,D = Write the fraction to make the fraction above.

Complete the 7x table wheels below. Only complete the first sheet.

You guys have been superstars in carrying out different summarising activities this week. Today you're going to summarise the two chapters by sequencing the events (Time order).

 

First task: Use the time conjunctions in the box on the left and write a short bullet point about what happens at each point.

 

Second task: Write in complete sentences and summarise the two chapters. Use the bullet points above to help you.

In this paragraph you need to include a rhetorical question.

 

A rhetorical question is a question is a question that doesn't need an answer, it's more about making a big statement!

 

E.G. 'So what are you waiting for? Go an hunt for the prestigious golden tickets now!'

 

Once you have written your concluding paragraph and included a rhetorical question you need to sign your letter off correctly.
