Drawing

Drawing at Westwood

In UKS2, children have been studying the work of John Constable. They have been looking at reflections. They have used pencil and oil pastels.
In KS1 children have been studying the artist Kandinsky. They have been looking at his work 'Squares with concentric circles' and recreating their own pieces of art. They have used this as inspiration for their own fruits on the magical tree as well as mazes. They have focussed on shading and how to make the colour change by pressing harder and softer.
In UKS2 children have been looking at the Tudors. They have been drawing Henry VIII and Tudor roses focusing on colour and tone.
