TT Rockstars Day 2021
On Wednesday 3rd November 2021, Westwood held our first ever Times Table Rockstar Day!
To start the day, we gathered in the hall for a special assembly and were treated to a special performance from children in Year 6 on their guitars.
To get into the true rockstar spirit, the children and staff came to school dressed up as rockstars. Don't we all look amazing?
During the day, we had a chance to access Times Table Rockstars to set up our avatars and start collecting those all important coins and minutes practice time.
From now on, we are in class battles each week and the winning class will get an extra playtime!
Also, each half term, one person from each class will be crowned Rockstar of the Half Term as a reward for all the effort they have put into to practising at school and at home.
There was also a chance to practise our times tables in different ways by playing games or completing different activities.
