# Week 3

This week we are going to be looking at our numbers to 40. We did practise this just before we broke up but don't worry if you can't remember any of it, that's what this week is for!

Day 1 -

I would like you to gather all your toys for this activity - if you want, you can go outside and use sticks and twigs instead. Then, I want you to count them all up. Remember, the easiest way to count them up is in groups of 10. How many groups of 10 do you have? Can you remember to count in 10 to find your total? Once you've done this, complete the sheet below.

Day 2 -

Today we are going to look at writing the numbers to 40. I know this can be quite tricky! What I would you like you to do is gather all your toys / pebbles / whatever you would like to label. Then, you'll need pen and paper. I want you to give every toy a number and then write how that number is spelt. For example, you may write on one toy  20 twenty.

Day 3 -

We're going to play bingo today! You can use the print out below, or if you don't have a printer don't worry. You can copy the sheet yourself on your own paper.

Day 4 -

Today I would like you to go on a scavenger hunt. You will need to find the items below. I would then like you to write down how many of each item you have found and then also write the word for each number. Happy hunting!

5 tops

10 spoons

1 tooth brush

18 sticks

15 toys

40 of whatever you chose!

Day 5 -

The last day of the week, let's make today exciting. Let's do some dancing to new number songs. Listen to the songs below and see if you can remember them!
