# Week 5

Day 1 -

Today we are going to look at positions. Positions are usually used when racing, as they are 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. What I would like you to do today is gather your toys, or you can play with family members if they are free. I want you to design your own medals, with the numbers;

1st

2nd

3rd

4th

5th

6th

7th

8th

9th

10th

Then, have races! You have to hand out the correct medal to where the people came in the race.

Day 2 -

Let's look at left and right today. We practiced it a little before we broke up, so let's see how much you can remember! A little trick to help you figure out which is left and which is right, hold up both hands to make a L shape. Whichever L is the right way is your left hand! Have a go at completing the sheet below.

Day 3 -

Today we are going to round off our topic on positions. Follow the sheet below and draw the toys in the correct position.

Day 4 -

Let's have a look at shapes today! We can have 2D shapes, and 3D shapes. The 3D shapes are fat and the 2D shapes are thin - an easy way to help you remember! I would like you to look at the shapes below and then go on a shape hunt around your house. What shape is your fridge? What about your bed? What shape is your dinner plate?

Day 5 -

Let's look at 3D shapes today. They're the shapes that are fat. Have a go at completing the sheets below to create your own 3D animals. If you have any playdough, see if you can make your own shapes. They can be either 2D or 3D.
