## Day 1

As a warm up today I'd like you to have a go at these word problems.

The Shirt Store sells shirts, ties, handkerchiefs etc. On Monday the Store had 42 customers. 32 customers bought new shirts; 7 of these also bought ties. 4 customers bought neither a shirt nor a tie. How many customers bought just a tie?

Transport for London

120 people who work for Williams’ Bank in the City of London were asked how they travelled to work. Altogether 82 said they travelled by train and altogether 45 said they travelled by tube. 10 said they didn’t use either the train or the tube. How many used both the train and the tube to get to work?

## Day 2

Today I'd like you to have a go at some work on coordinates. First you can look at the picture (click on it to make it bigger) to remind yourself of how to read coordinates. Then open up the PDF document which will give you the chance to practice these skills. You could answer the questions on a piece of paper.

If there's anything you can't do because it is on screen, draw out the grid to help you complete the questions.

## Day 3

Today I'd like you to have a go at some work on translation. First you can look at the picture (click on it to make it bigger) to remind yourself of how to translate shapes. Then open up the PDF document which will give you the chance to practice these skills. You could answer the questions on a piece of paper.

If there's anything you can't do because it is on screen, draw out the grid to help you complete the questions.

## Day 4

Today I'd like you to have a go at some work on reflection. First you can look at the picture (click on it to make it bigger) to remind yourself of how to reflect shapes. Then open up the PDF document which will give you the chance to practice these skills. You could answer the questions on a piece of paper.
