Mrs Oldroyd, Mrs Partridge and Mr McKittrick would like to wish you all a huge welcome to Willow Class. We hope you had a fantastic summer and that you are now all ready to begin what is sure to be a fun, jam-packed year. As it is your final year at Westwood, there are, of course, many traditions to look forward to like the end of year show and residential- we can’t wait to experience them all with you!

Our first Adventure has a history driver and we will be learning all about the Anglo-Saxons. In addition to our lessons, we will be experiencing what life was like as an Anglo-Saxon on our special Anglo-Saxon day at school. As well as learning all about how the Anglo-Saxons lived, much of our learning will be based around a  story from this time-Beowulf!

In Willow, the Star of the Week was Oliver.

This week in Willow, Adamas won the Mutual Respect Award
