Where is the Dream, Believe, Achieve?

 

Dream

(aspirations, experiences, ambition, develop own passions and interests, drive and motivation)

  • Children are exposed to a range of interesting and thought-provoking provision areas and activities as well as teacher focus lessons which spark interest and love of learning.
  • Teachers allow children the freedom to be expressive within their work and develop their skills without inhibition or interference.
  • The children’s interests are at the heart of everything we do and we foster a sense of aspiration through positive environments and interactions.
  • Through our curriculum children are able to develop a passion and interest for learning and adults provide children with the best possible start.
  • The classroom environments are calm, stress free, safe and secure allowing every child the opportunity to grow and learn without distraction.
  • Through a constant high-quality dialogue with adults’ children are able to express themselves and feel comfortable to voice their own wishes and desires.
  • Our children are curious children developing an appetite for knowledge.

Believe

(Pride, self-belief, risk takers, feel valued and respected)

 

  • Our children can wonder aloud and have their voice heard, knowing everything can be questioned and explored.
  • Through our curriculum pupils learn to persevere when learning something new and not deterred by mistakes.  
  • Pupils build resilience and have high aspirations for their work and this in turn builds self-esteem.
  • Children speak positively about their efforts and know their effort is valued and appreciated by others.
  • Pupils can express their own opinions and beliefs knowing they are valued and learn to accept the views values and beliefs of others.

Achieve

(responsible, resilient, feel success memorable learning, embrace challenge, lifelong learners)

 

  • Each pupil in Early Years travels along their own learning journey, carefully guided and supported by staff. Children continually build on knowledge and skills and these new skills are celebrated by themselves and with their important adults along the way.  
  • Children are given all the tools needed to take on their next academic challenge as they continue in their school career.
  • Children understand they are important, loved and their opinions matter.
  • A spark has been lit which allows the child to follow the direction of their own interest and desires.
