Our well being ambassadors from year 4 upwards were given the chance to complete consent training as part of the Diana award. They were so well behaved throughout and were really respectful to the trainer and other schools. They made Westwood proud! The ambassadors learnt about what consent is, how we can say no to anything at any time and how we are all allowed to change our minds. It will now be the ambassadors job to ensure that their peers know the same information as them and who to go to if they feel that something happened without their consent. 

Following on from the consent training, the ambassadors really wanted the other children in the school to know what they learnt. They decided to create a policy that could be displayed in every classroom and would have a consent policy on it to make sure everyone is safe in school!
