Y1 cdn are introduced to PM including how to log on & save their work indep. In Lego Builder they are introduced to simple algorithms. Y2 cdn learn about the safety aspects of online communication & safe/effective search methods. | Cdn further develop their understanding and application of algorithms creating a variety of programs. | Cdn are introduced to a variety of digital painting techniques + create artist fact files including Kandinsky & collage. | Y1 cdn use grouping activities to learn how to sort items using various criteria. They move on to collect & compare data to produce a variety of pictograms. Y2 cdn learn how to construct a binary tree followed by an introduction to databases. | Y1 cdn are introduced to spreadsheets, learning how to enter data & execute simple calculations. Y2 cdn learn how to copy/paste, execute more complicated calculations and collect data to produce graphs. | Cdn are introduced to the meaning of Technology and consider how it can be used to make people’s lives better.
