Events in School
One of our Roald Dahl Day activities was to try and draw some of Roald Dahls most famous characters. We began by sketching them while trying to imitate the style of Quentin Blake. Then we added colour using watercolours and finished off by going over the lines in pen.
For MacMillan Cancer Support, Westwood organised a bake sale and Willow helped by making some crispy buns to sell.
To celebrate the relaunch of Timestables Rockstars, we had a Rockstar day where everyone had to dress up as rockstars!
On Friday 4th March, Upper KS2 took part in a sponsored walk to Middleton Park. Over the course of the week, the whole school made the journey and collectively walked the distance from school to London! All this was to raise money for the Westwood School Parliament to use in improving the school.
