Autumn 1 - Back to the Woods
A lonely bear found himself at Westwood Primary hoping to make his way back to the woods....
The children putting their handprints on the bear that over the weekend mysteriously came to life!
The children found some mysterious footprints in the playground and a very smelly present. When they followed the footprints they found three little pigs stuck in the mud on the field.
The children then made story maps and got to try a yummy treat the three little pigs had left for them.
Week 4
This week Bear discovered a rabbit stranded in the lake at Middleton Park whilst trying to fish out jewels. We used this to encourage the children to think about the types of people in the community who help us and to write a simple STOP sign to stop anymore rabbits from falling in the water.
Week 6
Bear finally found his way back to the woods with his friends. The children spent the week making the perfect home and den for bear and his friends.
