Music
In our Year 6 music lessons, we have been learning to play the guitar.
At the moment, we are learning to play several different songs: Happy Birthday, Smoke on the Water and the James Bond theme.
We also learned to play Jingle Bells which we performed as part of our Christmas performance.
As part of Rockstar Day, the children dressed up as rockstars and even performed in assembly!
Samba
As part of our Rio vs the Rainforest adventure, Willow started to learn how to become a Samba band! During the first lesson, we learned about the various instruments and even learned a simple rhythm together.
All this is to prepare us for playing in front of an audience at Pudsey Civic Centre in a few weeks time!
