Autumn 2
In year 6, the children also completed a range of edits, both of sample pieces of writing and their own.
In year 5, the children completed a range of edits. They looked at identifying positives and areas for improvements in sample pieces of writing, and also edited their own pieces.
In year 3, the children began to edit example extracts in pairs, looking for any corrections and identifying positive things in the piece of writing.
In year 2, children worked in groups to edit a range of different pieces of writing.
In year 1, the children have begun to take part in whole class edit lessons.

KS2 completed short edits focussing on identifying key features or finding mistakes and editing them to make sure the writing was 100% correct!
