Tremendous Tudors

Well, this was another lockdown Adventure, however, we still made the most of this. Actually it was a favourite for many of the children! Here is some of the home learning that has taken place over the Half Term.

We learnt all about Jousting in this Adventure. We watched a video of a real Jousting match and came up with our own idea for a Jousting game. We then wrote a commentary about this!
Of course, we learnt all about Henry VIII and all his six wives. We even wrote a non-chronological report about all of them after researching about their lives, including the sort if marriage they all had with Henry.

Once we learnt about all the wives, we then learnt about Henry VIII’s children. We did our own research about the three children found out what they were like as Kings and Queens.

We were so intrigued by all the Tudor Monarchs, we even had a go at drawing some of them. They looked fabulous!
We also had a go at creating some Tudor houses!
Of course, we all know February is famous for Pancake Day! We actually watched Mr Ashford do a live demonstration on how to make pancakes and wrote some instructions for this.
