Willow

Welcome back to Willow! We hope you had a fantastic Christmas break (and that Santa came to visit) and are ready for the third of our exciting adventures! It's hard to believe we are already a third of the way through the year!

The Year 6s had a fantastic time at Ingleborough at the end of last half term and you can check the link at the bottom of the page to see photos from the many activities.

As well as all this we have our new adventure (Tremendous Tudors) to start and rehearsals for the end of year performance, The Sound of Music, are already underway!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

So lets meet the Willow team:

While we were enjoying our Christmas holidays, we received an email from Mia Storey at Temple Newsam. They had made an interesting discovery in the grounds and need our help to solve it.

Alternatively, check the links at the bottom of the page to see past adventures and all the other things we get up to in class.

As well as our adventure, you can also see what we have been up to in other lessons such as ICT, PE, Reading and even see examples of the Burn2Learns we take part in across every subject!

Key information about Willow class:

P.E.: Willow will have P.E. on a Monday and Wednesday. Please make sure P.E. kit is in school on these days.

Spellings: Spellings will be given out on a Friday every 2 weeks. Children will be sent home with 20 spellings to learn. They will have their first test the Thursday after they go home. Then a week after that they will have a second test. In this test they will try to beat their first score.

Reading: This year we will continue to have an individual reading lesson on a Friday. Reading books need to be read and back in school on a Thursday.
