Spring 2
This week has seen us enter the wonderful world of 'Garden Glitch' using 'What the Ladybird Heard' for our literacy and ladybird doubling for number. We have been making mini beasts for our beautiful garden and even made a fine prize cow who lives in the muddy shed outside the garden.
The children are excited to find out about what will happen when the burglars arrive. This week we have focussed on naming and sounding out the animals in the story. We have drawn story maps and labelled animals finishing off with some sentence writing. We have been learning about doubling and doubling the spots on ladybirds. We had some snow which the children got very excited about.
