Maths

This week in maths, Mr Cooper's group have been thinking about the value of digits in a 3 digit number. As part of our active learning, we went outside and had a number each. The children ran around the playground until Mr Cooper shouted out a number and then the children had to make that number by finding 2 other people and getting  themselves in the right positions. 

Guided Reading

We did a Burn2Learn where we thought about which question word would fit best with the end of the sentence we had. Some of us had to be extra flexible because we could have had 2 question words to fit our statement.

Science

The children in school during Spring 1 got very active when learning about muscles in science!! The children predicted what muscles they would use in different exercises and then completed the exercises to see if their predictions were correct. The classroom looked like a gym!
