Important Information for Oak Class

P.E

P.E will be on a Monday and Wednesday. On these days, children can wear their P.E kit to school. Please remember the Westwood P.E kit consists of:

- White T-Shirt (With or without the school logo)

- Green hoodie (With or without the school logo)

- Black shorts

- Plain black trainers

Swimming

On a Monday morning, children in Year 4 will go swimming. On a Monday, they need to come to school with their swimming trunks/costume on underneath their P.E kit and bring a towel and underwear in a swimming bag.

Homework

2 pieces of homework will be given out on a Friday, to be returned the following Thursday. There will be a piece of maths homework and an Adventure style project piece of homework.

Spellings

Spellings will be sent home on a Friday for a test the following Thursday, when new spellings will then be given out every week. Please ensure your green spelling book is in school on a Thursday so we can stick your new ones in and highlight the ones you got right. 

Reading Books

All reading books will be sent home on a Friday and we ask that they are back in school on a Monday, when a second book will be issued which should be returned on the Friday. If your child does not read at home, they will get the chance to catch up at playtime on a Friday.
