Our new adventure, Operation Stormbreaker, began with a special MI6 day where the children took part in different activities to see if they could become spies for the rest of the half term. Thankfully the children completed all of the activities well so became MI6 agents themselves and join Alex Rider on his mission.

In the first week of reading, we focussed on chapter 1 of the book. Children completed a family tree, answered questions and created a storyboard of the chapter.

In their first short edit, the children edited a synopsis of Alex Rider focussing on key homophones.

In the first piece of writing, the children wrote recounts of their day at spy school learning how to become spies.
