Our story this week is 'Dinosaur Roar'

This is a fabulous  simple but memorable  book, with rhyme and rhythm, listen to it several times so that your child can start to join in.

There are lots of great pictures that your child can look at and talk about.

Which is their  favourite dinosaur?  Is there a dinosaur they don't like so much?  Can they tell you why?

Marbled dinosaur egg

This is good fun, we all love playing and making marking in shaving foam so today we are going to use it to make a marbled pattern to decorate an egg shape to make our own dinosaur eggs.

You will need to cut out an egg shape on card have some shaving foam and some paint or food colouring.

Scientists have found that dinosaur eggs were different colours and had speckled patterns.

Use shaving foam in a tray, choose a couple of colours to add to shaving

foam and stir.  Lay the card egg onto the coloured foam, press and then lift,

scraping off the foam.    The colours in the foam should make a nice design on your egg!
