Week 3
In class we have been looking at sorting and matching different objects. We have done this in a range of ways. We have sorted them by size, colour and pattern.

Week 5
This week we have been looking at repeating patterns and beginning to have a go at correctly continuing a pattern. Some children even had a further challenge of making up their own repeating patterns!

Week 6
This week we began the week by exploring capacity. We then moved onto weight.
In the water areas inside and out we have been creating potions for the wizard and thinking what their powers could be! We have focussed on the vocabulary empty, half full and full.
We have also enjoyed exploring the balance scales to see if something is heavy or not. We were excited to see when we found two objects that weighed the same, the scales balanced.
