The American Dream

This half term, we have jumped on an aeroplane and will be learning all about the USA! You can see all the different activities we have been doing below...

To start off our Adventure, we have flown to New York and learnt about some of its famous attractions. We did a matching activity to help us identify some of its biggest tourist hotspots. 

For our Art, we looked at collage in the style of Peter Blake. We created a collage of America by cutting out pictures of interest that relate to America. We then stuck these across backgrounds that were also representative of America. 

For DT, we created our own skyscrapers using ipads. We first of all designed them and then created them using an app called Tinkercard where we were able to use Computer Aided Design.

In Geography, we have been looking at the USA. This has included where it can be found on a map and doing some research about its states and cities.
