The Biggest Celebration in the World
This half term our adventure with the children will see us visiting some of the biggest celebrations held around the world week by week and experiencing some of the culture that lies both on our doorstep and in far away countries. Without giving too much away we will keep you updated with our journey week by week.
This week we will be celebrating 'Bonfire Night' a very English celebration and enjoying a 'fire-pit' experience with the children.
In preparation for the start of our adventure this week the children celebrated Bonfire night. In Literacy we tasted a variety of foods, made our very own fireworks and even had a sparkler and a fire-pit outside. The children were thrilled by this experience and it was able to inform and inspire their early writing.
