Welcome back to school Year One! I hope you're all as excited as myself and Mrs Walker are for the wonderful year ahead.
Meet our wonderful class....
In Blossom class we practice Makaton. This is used as a means of communication with our friends. We learn a new sign a day, so it would really help us if parents or friends could ask us what sign we have learnt to help us remember them! Try practising one of our favourite songs, Roar! Can you remember all of the signing that goes with it?
Well done to Nevaeh who was awarded star of the half term for Spring 1! Nevaeh consistently tries her hardest and in class, producing wonderful and imaginative work.
Our school council rep is Nevaeh! She will be helping the rest of the school council team to make sure that Westwood is the best school!
Abbie is our attendance ambassador! This means that she has to make sure that everyone comes to school every day and she also has a say as to what treats the children get if they achieve thee attendance goals!
