We’re making great progress with ukulele with Mr Jennings and beginning to apply what we are learning in Charanga lessons with Mr Cooper to our ukulele. 

Autumn Term

We began by learning the musical notation. We played lots of games to do this and clapped different rhythms and used the glockenspiels too. Then we learnt about country-style music on Charanga. We linked this into PE by learning country dancing!

Spring Term - Improvisation and groove

We used our musical knowledge to compose a piece of music to play alongside some traditional American folk music based on our adventure. Have a listen to some of our creations!
