Anglo-Saxon and Viking Day
We started our lesson on Viking longboats with a quick recap of some key dates we have learnt this half term. We worked in pairs to put the key events and their dates in chronological order.
Next we went on a Burn2learn so we could collect some of the key vocabulary for our Viking longboats. We worked in pairs to label our longboats with some of our newly learnt words and their meanings.
Finally we sketched our own Viking longboats. We labelled them with their key features and worked hard to add definition to our sketches using our pencil skills. Have a look at our amazing artwork below.
