Today we will be revising everything we have done this week on measurements. You will be comparing items to find the tallest, shortest and longest. Please make sure you use this language instead of 'big and small' as these are more specific.

On the final page of the revision, the children have to measure items using centimetres. The pictures show '1 cm' and you can use this to help you measure the rest.


I will be delivering a handwriting and spelling lesson at 1.00, please make sure you have a pen and paper.


As we will be returning back to school on Monday I thought it would be nice for the children to reflect on the time at home and have an opportunity to think about what they are excited and nervous about on our return. It is important the children are reassured that everyone will be feeling the same way (including me) and their feelings are validated.


I would love the children to think of 3 things that they are excited about and looking forward to, and 3 things they may be worried about. They do not have to write things down if you don't feel it would benefit them, having a conversation and maybe you jotting things down and sending it to me would be amazing. The more insight I get into how the children are feeling, the better I can tailor my approach on their return.
