Maths - Live lesson at 9.30am
Today in our maths we are going to be recapping some of our prior learning. This week in our maths we will be having some tests to test our knowledge on what we already know, so today is a chance to recap some learning to help us with our tests! We will be really quickly looking at 4 different topics from our maths during our live lesson including: addition and subtraction, time, place value and graphs. The independent activity is then to complete the activity on each topic to see how well you understand!
I will attach the powerpoint after the live lesson to support your independent activity.
Guided Reading - Live Lesson at 10.30am
Today we are going to be practicing some reading questions as this week in our Guided Reading we are going to be completing some reading tests! We have already practiced some type of questions but we will be discussing them together on our live lesson about possible answers and how to find them and then your independent task is to read the resource below about the water cycle and answer the questions attached.
The powerpoint will be added as an example after the live lesson as the answers to what we will be discussing are on there!
Writing - Live Lesson at 1pm.
As we come to the end of the half term, it also means we are coming to the end of this adventure. At the end of the story, Willy Wonka gives the factory to Charlie. Charlie has put out a job advertisement for some new employees as his factory and we are going to apply for a job there. Today, I'd like you to think about what personality traits and characteristics somebody working in a chocolate factory might need. We'll talk about some of them in the live lesson and then on the sheet below, I need you to think really carefully about the questions and jot down some ideas. Please bring these back into school tomorrow as they will form the basis of our writing for the rest of the week.
