Welcome back to Willow a new term at Westwood!

We hope you had a restful half term break (and didn't get sick eating too much Halloween chocolate).

This half term is a bit of a busy one: we have Parents Evening in the first week, our Christmas performance and some of our Year 6s are even off on their Ingleborough residential in the week just before Christmas.

This half term, we are continuing our Britain at War adventure which saw us time travelling back to a very blitzed Britain in the throws of World War 2.

Last half term, we learned about how the war was starting to affect the country with rationing, bomb shelters and the constant threat of air raids. What could the rest of the war bring for the children?
