At Westwood we highly value the importance of mental health and well-being and it is a priority in our school. In light of this we have created a fantastic, safe, calming space for children to access if they feel they need time and space to reflect or to support their mental health and well-being. Take a look at the Westwood Well-Being Walk In that has been created!
We have two guinea pigs in this area. Children at the school's breakfast club feed the animals and check on them daily. There is also a Animal Care Club. The children in this club help to clean the hutches and make sure the animals are well cared for.
