Adventure

On his first day of lockdown Jake made an amazing house out of boxes left over from Christmas time. He spent all day creating it and painting it. I think it turned out amazing, well done Jake!
In our Geography lesson we looked at directions. Blossom class then had to create their own map and label it with their own directions. They turned out amazing!
We have been looking at the human body in science. The children had to see if they could create their own human body and label it. They all tried really hard. 
Georgia has been working hard completing her own activities. Look what super work she has done so far!

Blossom class were read the story When I Grow Up, they were then given the task of writing / drawing what they want to be when they grow up.

We looked at human and physical features in Geography. We then had to make our own worlds an design and label them with human and physical features in them. 
Over the weekend Olly has been working really hard. He has found an interest in volcanos and bought a kit to make his own. He watched as it exploded everywhere! Super work Olly.
We were given aa Joe Wicks PE lesson to complete today. The children smashed it and got themselves up and moving!

The key worker children have been hard at work in school, making their own pirate ships!
We looked at the work of Kandinsky and had to draw circles in the same style as he did. Everyone tried so hard to be neat. 
The children have been having so much fun playing in the snow, look at their pictures!
We have been looking at things that go in our bodies. The children had to sort the things out into what they should put in, what they shouldn't and what adults should help with. 
Blossom class had to create a piece of music to go with their womping willow description.

In Science we looked at our human bodies and balancing. The children were given a part of the body and they had to ty and see if they could balance on it.

We looked today at rock pools and who may live there. We found our friend Peach the starfish living in a rock pool so decided to recreate one.

In History we looked at Queen Elizabeth and who she is. 
The children in school have been working really hard on creating their own animals using play dough. They turned out fantastically!
In order to be a true pirate, we have to make a telescope to help us see if there are any other pirates coming to get us!

We looked at our senses in science and went on a senses hunt! Look at everything we found...
The children were given the task to get active today! They had to complete a sonic yoga session and they all loved it.

In Art we looked at Kandinsky again but this time we focussed on using paints. We made a tree and replaced the leaves with Kandinsky circles. 
Ebonie has been super busy making yummy chocolate buns with her Auntie. They look delicious!
