We honestly believe World Book Day gets better every year and this one was fabulous. The children began the day with an assembly where the them was 'Aliens Love Underpants.' Rowan Class also did a variety of activities throughout the day.
On 7th March the whole school took part in number day. This is organised by the NSPCC where the children came to school wearing a number. This would either be on their clothing or painted on their face etc. We had some fantastic variations from football kits to handmade creations. The children took part in various math activities throughout the day. We also organised for a math magician to come into school and do a workshop for all the children.
For Pancake Day, we had a go at making pancakes from scratch. Everyone made one and had the fabulous choice of lemon juice and crunchy spread to go with them.
