Books Bunny and his daughter Page were born all the way in Berkshire in the town of Reading. Books is the best buddy of Bugs Bunny and is a popular friend across a variety of well-known characters. He likes to help all his friends by using all his reading skills to help them succeed.

Scooby Doo and his Mystery Machine gang often ask for Books’s help as he always uses his inference skills to help them solve their clues. They regularly come to him with lots of questions and they use all his pages to retrieve the answers. This helps the gang predict what might happen when setting off on their Adventures.

Books has a strong connection with different characters from stories. He particularly gets on with Matilda who uses him quite a lot to learn about all her different school subjects. He has really helped Matilda use her imagination to make visualisations, which is why she is so good at understanding different texts.

Books loves both stories (fiction) and real-life texts (non-fiction) and has helped so many of his friends become who they are today, including teachers, doctors and even footballers. His main message to everyone is that ‘reading is everywhere.’
