Maths

Today we looked at a maze problem, working our way through and adding the numbers as we go to make the target. Complete the arithmetic questions on the slides then see if you can complete the maze. After, go through the maze again but this time see what the biggest and smallest numbers you can make are. 

Reading

We started reading 'Floodlands' by Marcus Sedgwick at school on Monday. Today, we are going to re-read the first chapter then complete a character study on Zoe. The sheet for this can be found below. There is also a link to a video of the author himself reading this chapter. 

Writing

This week, we are going to write a setting description of Hogwarts Castle. Read through today's slides and complete the tasks shown using the sheets below and the link to the clip. You won't need to complete all of the SPAG sheet, just the parts that are mentioned on the slides.
