Our priority is the safety of all of our children and their families when returning to school. We kindly ask that all adults wear face coverings whilst on the school premises and stay 2 metres distance from other families. We also ask that everyone familiarises themselves with pick up and drop off times for all children in every year group.

 

We also ask that your child bring a water bottle which can be labelled clearly with their name that they can then leave in school to be cleaned at the end of each day by staff. 

P.E.

 Birch class will usually have PE every Tuesday. We are now asking children to bring in their PE kit as the day that they do PE May change due to staffing levels. Mrs Oates will be our PE teacher this year and will be teaching us lots of new games and skills including balancing, throwing and catching and dancing. At Westwood Primary School we understand the importance of keeping active and how physical activity positively impacts on our health and overall wellbeing.

Reading 

Reading books will be changed every Friday and must be returned on Tuesday. This allows us to quarantine the books for 3 days before handing them out again on Friday. We thank you for your cooperation with this.
