Maths - 

Today we are looking at ordering numbers up to 20. To begin with, count to 20, did you find it easy to count up? See if you can grab a handful of toys, or pencils, or lego pieces. See if you can make a group of 11,12,13 etc. Can you now write on a piece of paper the number of toys that you have placed down? See if you can put them in order.

Writing - 

Today we are going to write a poem, in the style of "The Sound Collector." I have attached a picture of the poem below if you missed me reading it in the live lesson. This week we have met the womping willow. We are going to write about everything we can hear when we are near the tree. 

For example, 

The whooshing of the wind, 

The crash of thunder, 

The scraping of twigs, 

You will need to write a new line for each sentence, I expect at least 5 lines from you all. At the end you can also draw  picture if you want to make your poem look even better. Sound all your words out and don't forget to make your handwriting neat. I expect it to look the same as if you were in school.
