Maths

MONDAY

Today, we're beginning to look at fractions. We're going to think about counting in tenths and if you know your ten times tables (which we all do because we've all passed them!) then this will be much easier. Follow the slides below to find out how to count in tenths, and then complete the 3 activities below.

TUESDAY

Today we're looking at adding fractions where the bottom number (denominator) is the same. All you have to do is add the top numbers and keep the bottom numbers the same.

For example:

1/8 + 3/8 = 4/8

REMEMBER TO KEEP THE BOTTOM NUMBER THE SAME

Well done for all of your work at home this last week everyone - looking forward to seeing you back in school tomorrow!
