Our trip to the Gurdwara
Elder Class had an amazing day visiting the Gurdwara (Sikh temple). When we arrived, we had to cover our heads with a head scarf for the girls or a bandana for the boys. We then had to take off our shoes and place them in a shoe rack. we were shown the pray room. The children were shown how to put a turban on and some even had a go! Elder Class then had the opportunity to play the harmonia. The day ended with a piece of chocolate each. Perfect!
