In Maths, we have recently been doing some outdoor learning. With our fractions topic, we have looked at how we can separate whole amounts. We were given a Maths problem where a PE teacher had to separate sets of cones so there were enough for all the children. We did this successfully using our decimal knowledge.

In our most recent Maths topic, we have been looking at division. Here, you can see we have been using counters and Base 10 to help use visualise how we divide objects.

Our topic in maths at the minute is addition. We have been learning about place value and have used number discs to help us add sets of 4 digit numbers together. This has helped us add numbers independently using the column method.
