Week 1 - solving problems by doubling and halving amounts
Week 2
This week we were looking back at our odd and even numbers. The children loved exploring different numbers to find out if they were odd and even and giving reasons for their answers. We explored with the numicon pieces and tens frames. Were were looking for if they always had a partner.
Week 3
This week the children have been revisiting their number bonds to 10 through number stories. As we were telling them stories they had to count out the number of objects they needed. They then had to find out how many more they needed to make 10.
