We created story maps to summarise and retell chapter 1.

We used the books as our evidence to create emotions graphs for Hogarth's fathers feelings at the start of Chapter 2.

Visualisation

Using clues in the text, we drew our interpretations of The Iron Man and labelled his body parts based on our evidence from the book.

Prediction

We have been using clues about what has happened previously to predict what is going to happen next.

Connections

We've been making lots of amazing connections to different texts, the world and ourselves. A lot of people said The Iron Man falling and breaking, then rebuilding himself reminded them of Mr Potato Head from Toy Story when he puts himself back together.
