Pedestrian Training with Leeds Council
As part of our RSHE topic on Keeping Safe, and as the children approach the summer holidays and become more independent, our Year 4s were treated to a workshop with the Leeds City Council Road Safety Team where they learnt how to safely cross roads. The team took the children to local roads around school and taught them the Green Cross Code, how to cross a side street, main road, T junction, how to cross individually and how to cross with a group/partner. The day was really useful for the children - and a massive thank you to Amber and Harriet from Leeds City Council for a great day!
