We use ‘The Poetry Basket’ to  support us in providing a language rich environment in our nursery.   

We choose poems from the collection to best suit our children’s development, interests and the different times of the year. We watch the poems being recited and together learn the poems alongside the actions off by heart.  Each new poem is repeated three times to help cement it to memory.
