Everybody and Me

And So The Adventure Began...

On Monday morning we arrived at school to find a trail of green footprints through the shared area with a vest and blobs of green slime scattered around

What could it be?

We wondered that it was that could have left these slimy footprints.

Here are some of our ideas:

Romy: A frog

Sara: An alien

Hollie: A ghost

Logan: A slimy monster

Have a look at some of our drawings. This is what we think it might have been.

We decided to go on a hunt to see if we could find the creature!

The next day we received a letter from Moz the alien! He wanted us to paint a self-portrait so he could see what we looked like better.

Moz left us a note to thank us for our amazing portraits. He now wanted to learn more about our bodies...

We went on a scavenger hunt to find different body parts and facial features. We then put them on to the correct part of the body and tried to listen to the initial sounds of each one.

eg. 'm' for mouth

After reading Funny Bones, we decided to explore our bodies and skeletons further by creating our own art pictures.

There were footprints in our classroom again!

AND a half eaten cupcake...

Poor Moz was eating too many cakes and getting a poorly tummy.

We decided to write him a shopping list to help him find a variety of foods.

We spoke about healthy eating and eating a range of different foods.

The next day an ASDA shopping bag appeared on our carpet containing some of the foods that we had drawn on the shopping list.

We received an email from Moz enquiring about all these building he had seen. He had made a new friend which we believe to be a witch who had started to tell him about her house and garden. This looked different to his home back on his planet and he wanted to see ours!

We drew some pictures of our houses, attempting to add labels and talk about the different aspects to help inform him.

After talking about Autumn and the seasonal changes happening around us, we were excited to go on an Autumn walk!
