Autumn 2 We Are Game Developers.
This term we are learning to use computer code to make a programme. Using Scratch, we made our sprite have different backgrounds and learnt to move Scratch around to chase the mouse pointer.
This term we are working at being cyrptographers and learning about how coded messages are sent.
We started looking at semaphore and made our own flags to send messages. Next we tried using a morse code machine. It was very challenging reading the dots and dashes quick enought to follow.
Later we used circuits to make a bulb light and sent messages in our pairs. By the end of the lesson we had started to recognise certain letters and were much quicker at working the messages out.
