Virtual visit from MP Hilary Benn

On Thursday 15th October, Lower Key Stage 2 were lucky enough to get a very special visit from Hilary Benn, MP for Middleton and Central Leeds. It linked in with our RSHE topic about Democracy and how local councils work. Hilary spoke to the children about his life as an MP and then we asked him some amazing questions about his job and his life.

He absolutely loved speaking to us all! The questions were fantastic and he LOVED our school motto - 'if you believe you can do it you can and you will' and was so impressed at how loud the children shouted it to him!

The Wizard of Oz virtual performance

On Friday 6th November, Lower Key Stage 2 were lucky enough to be treated to a virtual performance of The Wizard of Oz. The show was really fun and interactive and all of the children and staff absolutely loved it!
