Relationship,Sex and Health Education

At Westwood we understand that relationship, sex and health education is very important and provides our children with the knowledge and understanding they will need to keep safe and have a good level of physical and mental health now and in the future. With this in mind we have a rigourous RSHE curriculum that supports this education. Half termly topics are covered to ensure the breadth of the curriculum is covered. In addition to this each class participate in Mindmate lessons half termly as well. Celebration weeks and days are regularly spread throughout the year to enhance the curriculum and support the children's learning.
