Tuesday
Tuesday - Literacy
Today we are exploring the book 'Harry and the bucketful of dinosaurs'. Yesterday we looked at and drew where Harry might take the dinosaurs to have fun. Today we are looking at writing a menu for he dinosaurs using foods that we know and sounding out our letters and initial sounds. Below you will find a video explaining the task and a menu template. If dinosaurs came to your kitchen what would they eat? Can you write them a menu? Remember a menu is a list of items they could eat so you do not need to write in full sentences.

Maths
Today we are going to think about ordering numbers to 10 on a 10 frame. I have included a template below that you can either draw and replicate for your child or print. This is a 15 minute activity to encourage your child with number recognition and numeral recognition. Can they say the number that is one more or one less than any given number to 10? Can you encourage them to count carefully using one number name for each dinosaur or fossil. How many are there altogether?
