Key Stage 1

In KS1, pupils identify similarities and differences between ways of life in different periods. They should choose and use parts of stories and other key sources to show that they know and understand the features of events.

In KS2, children note connections, contrasts and trends over time. As they study more of our history curriculum, these will become more apparent to children and they will be able to compare the strands of History across different time periods.
